I work in both print and screen. I am not defined by any particular style. I'm multifaceted. I know a lot about a lot. I don't let what I know I can and can't do define me or my ideas. I'm innovative.

I created a self-portrait using a storytelling method. I asked myself questions. Where do I see myself in the future? What would I like to be doing in the future? How would I describe myself? These questions allowed me to devise visual elements that could be used to assemble a story. I pieced these elements together to create an illustrative self-portrait.
As a new addition to the Boozin’ Gear website, they wanted to create a set of personas that would represent select brands of brews and have the personality and look to match those selections. I was provided with a brief for the personality of each character. I gathered reference photos that went along with each character to base the illustrations on. I designed the characters to be between realistic and cartoonish by creating natural looking people with slight stylized elements such as the graphic ink lines and mouths.
I redesigned the book cover of the children’s story The Little Toy Soldier. The original book cover portrayed a sad story while my redesign depicts an adventurous story. I achieved this by removing the Toy Soldier from the aspect of danger as portrayed on the original book cover and placing the Toy Soldier into a position of power as he sails across the water at the bow of his paper boat.
